2014 chevy traverse temp gauge and ac not working

2011 Traverse A/C not working. I have the A/C set to cold and the vents set to come out pointed at the face area, hit the "snowflake button" which just flashes 3 or 4 times and never engages the A/C to get cold. Seems like A/C issues are rampant on the Traverses..
